How do I set up direct booking and connect my Airbnb calendar?
With direct booking, guests pick their dates on a live availability calendar on your site and send you a booking request — which you confirm and fulfill directly. To set it up, turn on the booking form and connect your Airbnb availability by pasting its iCal export link so your calendar stays in sync.
Connect your Airbnb calendar (iCal)
- In Airbnb, go to your listing's availability settings and find Export calendar — copy the iCal (.ics) link.
- In your Hostmade dashboard, open the site's Booking settings.
- Paste the Airbnb export link into the availability field and save.
- Hostmade syncs your booked and available dates and shows a live calendar on your site.
How guests book
- A guest opens your site and picks available dates on the calendar.
- They send a booking request with their details.
- You get notified and confirm or decline in your dashboard, then take payment and finalize however you normally do.
Direct booking is a premium feature. Availability syncs from Airbnb on a schedule, so there can be a short delay between an Airbnb booking and your Hostmade calendar updating.
Booking options you can set
- A minimum number of nights for a request.
- The email where new requests are sent.
- Turn the on-site request form on or off — with it off, your site shows your listing/booking link instead.
